Testing Begins on Sprint 1

As you can tell from the happy picture at right, Sprint 1 enters testing today. (What’s a sprint? ) The ISIS tech support team will be the primary testers for Sprint 1. Pictured from left: Kanako Nishimoto, Josh Courteau, Tabbi Saleheen, Elisabeth Hunt and Chris Houghton.

Sprint 1 began on October 30. By the end of last week all 45 planned screens were completed. Because the work has gone slightly faster than we were anticipating, we expect to complete 8 screens from Sprint 2 within the Sprint 1 timeline. Sprint 1 focuses on basic institutional information, and these 45 screens will be used by ISIS staff. Sprint 2 is all about taxonomy. More on that in a future blog post.
